1. PRESCHOOL EDUCATION

• School Age: Preschool
• Normal Age: 5 to 6 Years Old
• Preschool Education is kindergartens.

2. NINE-YEAR COMPULSORY EDUCATION

• School Age: 1st to 9th Grade
• Normal Age: 7 to 15 Years Old
• Compulsory Education is 6-year Elementary School and 3-year Junior High School programs.
• Supplementary and Continuing Education are Supplementary Elementary Schools and Supplementary Junior High Schools.

3. SR.SEV. EDUCATION

• School Age: 10th to 12th Grade
• Normal Age: 16 to 18 Years Old
• Senior High Education is 3-year Senior High or 3-year Senior Vocational High School program
• Supplementary and Continuing Education are Continuing Senior High Schools.

4. HIGHER EDUCATION

• School Age: 13th to 25th Year
• Normal Age: 19 to 31 Years Old
• Higher Education is Universities and Colleges. 5-year Technological and Vocational Colleges admit junior high school graduates and 2-year Colleges admit high school gradates.
• Universities and Colleges have curriculums such as College of Medicine, Medical School, Dentistry Program, .Master Program, Doctoral Program.
• Technological and Vocational Colleges have 5-year Junior, 2-year Junior, 4-year and 2-year Colleges.
• Supplementary and Continuing Education are Continuing Junior Colleges, Open Universities and Continuing Colleges.
• For Special Education there are dedicated schools from kindergarten, grade school, junior high school to senior high school. There are special education classes in regular high schools and grade schools to counsel disable students.
